When disassembling the loading arm, the following aspects need to be noted
Safety Preparations
Ensure that the inlet and outlet valves are closed before operation, and the exhaust valve is tightened to make the pressure at the port of the loading arm approach zero.
Ensure that the operation area is well-ventilated and free of flammable and explosive gases.
Tool Preparations
Prepare necessary tools, such as wrenches, ladders, cleaning utensils, etc.
Disassembly Steps
Remove the fixing bolts on the pipeline (support), and check the connection method of the loading arm to ensure it is unfastened correctly.
When disassembling the protective cover, first unscrew the cover screws, and then pull out the cover.
Use a wrench or other appropriate tools to disassemble the loading arm nuts and remove the loading arm.
Cleaning and Inspection
Clean the removed loading arm thoroughly, and check whether there are rust, scale, or other debris inside and outside the loading arm to ensure complete cleaning.
Safety Precautions
Do not insert any liquid into the loading arm during operation.
Avoid moving inside the loading arm boom, and ensure that blocked items are not too long to prevent accidents.
If the loading arm is not used for a long time, keep it dry and clean to avoid damage and wear.
