Internal Floating Roof
According to the Guidelines for Energy-Saving Design of Oil Depots and other relevant standards, tanks for light oil products shall be equipped with an internal floating roof.
The assembled-type internal floating roof is an energy-saving product designed to reduce vapor loss and improve efficiency.
Depending on the characteristics of the stored medium, the floating roof can be made of aluminum, carbon steel, or stainless steel.
The design and installation comply with the following codes and standards:
Code for Design of Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Oil Tanks - GB 50341-2003
Wrought Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Extruded Profiles for General Industrial Applications - GB/T 6892-2000
Code for Design of Oil Depots - GB 50074-2002
Performance Features
Scientific Design and Innovative Structure
The internal floating roof adopts a unique spider-web structure, with floats embedded within a radial framework arranged in a hexagonal honeycomb pattern.
This configuration provides high structural strength and excellent stability.
The framework itself produces a natural damping effect, which quickly reduces and absorbs shocks generated by the liquid medium during operation.
Smooth Operation, Safe and Reliable
The new structural design divides the vapor space into several small chambers, effectively damping impacts on the liquid surface during operation.
This minimizes shock waves on the liquid surface, ensuring the internal floating roof moves smoothly and freely without sticking or jamming.
Numerous, Small, and Evenly Distributed Floats
The floats are independent from the framework, small in size, large in number, and evenly distributed.
This design prevents overall tilting or jamming of the floating roof even if an individual float leaks, thereby improving operational reliability.
Energy Saving and Loss Reduction
The internal vapor space within the floating roof is relatively small, which significantly reduces medium evaporation, saving energy and preventing environmental pollution.
High Utilization and Excellent Antistatic Performance
With an overall thickness of only 320 mm, the internal floating roof increases the effective storage capacity of the tank.
The design ensures excellent electrostatic discharge performance, eliminating potential static hazards and ensuring operational safety.
Easy Installation and Maintenance
The floating roof is assembled with bolted connections, requiring no welding.
All components are standardized and modular, offering excellent interchangeability and compatibility.
Any component can be replaced independently, simplifying installation and maintenance.
Corrosion Resistant and Long Service Life
The main body of the floating roof is made of high-quality materials with excellent corrosion resistance and long service life.
The sealing materials are conductive, wear-resistant, and highly elastic, providing superior durability and preventing cracking.
